A strong brand identity communicates your company’s values, personality and objectives consistently. It starts with a brand name and a brand mark (logo design, colour palette, typeface) and continues with offline and online brand communications (stationery to web design and social media marketing), advertising campaigns, signage and public relations.

Identity design is based around the visual devices used within a company, usually assembled within a set of guidelines. Brand guidelines are a crucial tool in enabling internal team members and external suppliers the resources they need to ensure brand consistency. These guidelines administer how the identity is applied throughout a variety of mediums, using approved colour palettes, fonts, layouts and so forth.

The logo however, is the corporate identity and brand all wrapped up into one identifiable mark. The logo identifies a business or product in its simplest form and establishes an immediate connection between the brand and consumers.

A brand identity can be defined in many different ways, but in its simplest terms, it is the synthesis of a brand’s visual and verbal communications. At MIH we take all of these elements and create something that sets your brand apart from your competitors. The more comprehensive and consistent a brand identity, the more meaningful, ownable, and memorable the brand will be.
