SUSE Linux/IBM Enterprise Awareness Campaign

Building a quality database for targeted B2B lead generation, and developing a microsite that provides support for all the subsequent marketing activities and establishes the credentials of the partnership between the two brands.


Objective

To increase awareness and build demand for SUSE Linux running on IBM Systems – across different job functions, roles and areas of interest within large organisations in Australia. The two most important tasks were to build a comprehensive database – the foundation for targeted marketing activity and B2B lead generation, and the microsite – the campaign hub and brand centre.

Results

The campaign is expected to firmly establish the profile of the brand partnership solutions in the enterprise space.

Interesting

Part way through campaign development, Novell (original home of the SUSE Linux brand) was acquired, and a new brand and value proposition announced. Make It Happen regrouped, adjusted the campaign materials and re-commenced.
