Axicom Brand:
Naming, Strategy, Design and Responsive Website
Axicom is Australia’s leading provider of independently owned wireless infrastructure. Axicom own, operate and manage a portfolio of approximately 1800 towers in Australia, substantially covering the Australian population.
BRIEF
With the impending sale of the business, the executive leadership team required an alternative to Crown Castle should the sale proceed. Unable to retain any visual association with the previous owner our brief was to provide the business with a name, brand and market facing communications to support the business post acquisition.
WHAT WE DID
MIH rolled out a complete brand overhaul for Axicom involving strategy (naming, positioning, architecture, tone of voice), corporate identity (logo, brand guidelines, colour palette, typography, visual style) and responsive website.
The MIH creative team developed an extensive range of print materials as part of the brand refresh including corporate stationery, environmental signage, flyers and internal templates. Through the use of responsive web design, MIH delivered a powerful site managed through WordPress, with the added flexibility of providing a solid user experience on mobiles, tablets and desktops.
The additional development of two Axicom sub brands KAW and Structel involved the creation of individual logos, corporate stationery packs and stand alone responsive WordPress websites.
RESULTS
Launched in November 2015 Axicom the new brand has been well received by clients, investors and the Axicom team. The involvement of cross-functional team members in the development and roll out of the brand has had positive organisational cultural benefits. The Axicom, KAW & Structel responsive websites have been developed using WordPress and has given Axicom the ability to easily update their content across all branded sites.
