Wunan Foundation
Brand, Website and Creative Services
Established in 1997, Wunan is an Aboriginal development organisation in the East Kimberley, with a clear purpose and strategy to drive long-term socio-economic change for Aboriginal people. Their aims are achieved by providing real opportunities, investing in people’s abilities, and by encouraging and rewarding aspiration and self-responsibility.
BRIEF
Wunan have limited internal marketing capability but needs to ensure that their key stakeholders and the community have an understanding of the wonderful work they do in the East Kimberley. A saturated marketplace coupled with Wunan’s remote location, left this indigenous NFP in critical need of both funding from government and non-government sources, and a greater awareness of its cause. Our initial engagement was a pro-bono project to refresh Wunan’s online presence to showcase the positive impact their work was having on the lives of Aboriginal people.
WHAT WE DID
Make It Happen has worked with Wunan on a large number of projects, operating as their not for profit design agency since 2011. We have worked with their team to develop websites, create sub-brands and market facing communications for their social enterprises, annual reports, infographics, newsletters, signage and anything else that was required to support them.
RESULTS
The blog and quarterly newsletters have allowed Wunan to share updates easily and regularly with their stakeholders. The implementation of a job board has streamlined their employment function. Additionally, the development of diagrams, icons and info-graphics allow the important work of Wunan to be represented visually for greater impact.
We are immensely proud of the Annual Reports we have produced from 2012.
