The Central Coast Council is the new entity derived from the amalgamation of Gosford & Wyong Councils.
The Central Coast is well known as a lifestyle destination but with the ever expanding sprawl of Sydney, the Central Coast has a lot to offer businesses looking to expand their operations or wish to relocate from Sydney.
WHAT WE DID
The Central Coast Council identified IT, Food Manufacturing and Transport and Logistics as the initial areas of focus. We were tasked with the development and execution of an event led lead generation campaign. Identifying the companies to target, setting different events and locations for the IT and Manufacturing/Logistics audiences, creating the event assets (invitations, landing pages, event signage); managing social and telemarketing initiatives to drive registrations – and doing it all the busiest time of the year, with 6 weeks to get it done.
The timing of the events – 1st week December – was challenging.
The IT events were held in beautiful fine dining lunch venues – CBD & Northern Sydney – and the Manufacturing/Logistics event hosted outside by a manufacturing company who had opened a second facility on the Coast. The outside venue allowed us to incorporate Central Coast brewers and two amazing food trucks.
The events achieved the awareness and quality business enquiries the Central Coast Council had hoped for and provided additional nurture prospects for the team to manage.
