Vibrant, diverse, and conveniently central, there’s a lot to love about Macquarie Park. But for years, the area had been seen as little more than a business hub.
 
With significant residential expansion underway, the Mayor of Sydney decided it was time to highlight the leisure and recreation options that made “the Park” a premier nighttime destination.

To help deliver this vision, MIH stepped in to create a cutting-edge video that would prove to residents and visitors that Macquarie Park meant more than just business.

First up, we needed to figure out exactly what entertainment and lifestyle options were on offer at Macquarie Park. This involved a comprehensive audit to categorise activities into areas like food and drink, shopping, sport, leisure and recreation, arts and crafts, and education.
 
Equipped with our list, we developed a map of Macquarie Park to introduce people to the area and make it easy to locate all the different activities.
 
Next, it was time to get rolling with the Love Macquarie Park video. Using attention-grabbing visuals, we showcased some of the best leisure activities to be enjoyed at Macquarie Park – from discovering the stunning Lane Cove National Park to shopping at the many boutiques and socialising with friends in gorgeous surroundings.

Featured on the City of Ryde website and social channels, the I Love Macquarie Park video has been a hit with viewers.

Both the map and the video have also been used by businesses within Macquarie Park as a handy resource for employees and residents.
