NFP - Brand Refresh, Story-telling Video + Print

01.

The Brief

Postvention Australia had received a grant from NSW Health to produce digital and print resources to assist the families and loved ones impacted by suicide.
The scope of work included the design of an information booklet (care pack) that would provide practical guidance on what to do, who to contact, and what resources are available to assist with the trauma and grief of loss.
We provided copy and design support for three related campaign initiatives: International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day (ISOSL); NSW Post Suicide Support Services Directory and the Bereavement Care Pack were supported with media releases and social media posts for a 12 week period.

The Approach

At the commencement of the project we recommended that Postvention Australia would benefit from a refreshed brand. Their existing brand had served them well but was outdated. The brand redeveloped was undertaken as a pro-bono project.
The Breavement Care Pack and Prospectus provide PVA with marketing assets that can be shared digitally (website); printed (available for police and funeral directors) and distributed by the many service providers who provide individuals and communities much needed support.
We worked with some amazing people and Andrew and the team at Sydney Video Producers jumped at the chance to turn a very tiny video budget into 2 of the most beautiful videos we have ever seen. Their pro-bono contribution to this project was immeasurable.

The Results

This has been one of the most rewarding projects we have ever worked on. The pragmatic 'What do I do now' guide of the Care Pack, which we wish was not needed at all, provides a framework to help put one foot in front of the other.
The strength and honesty shared in the videos by Sandy and Sienna (and created by Sydney Video Producer) is amazing.
It has been a privilege to work on this project.

I wanted to thank you for all that you have done in helping us to take the next step in our journey, I am sure that even though we had an idea of what we wanted we really had no idea.  To that end, the passion, commitment and creativity you have provided has exceeded all of our intentions and delivered us more than we could have dreamed.  “Going the extra mile” seems inadequate in this instance.  Thank you for never thinking inside the Box.
